Western Colorado
The quieter half of Colorado, west of the divide.
Most people picture Colorado as Denver, the Front Range, and the ski towns off I-70. The Western Slope is the other half, the land that drains toward the Pacific instead of the plains. It has the orchards, the canyon country, the San Juans, and a pace that the busier side of the state gave up a while ago. This is a plain, independent guide to it.
